Masters is proud to offer a staff of professional flutists who come to work each day with a love for their instrument that they want to share. They teach classic, pop and jazz flute along with many other genres of music that their students want to discover through the flute.
Many of our musicians come to us with no flute skills whatsoever, but rather wit simply a passion to get their hands on the instrument and begin playing. Others have played for years and they look to Masters to help them hone their musicianship. We encourage all types and levels of flute players here in our Northern New Jersey music school.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Our approach to flute instruction at Masters is to teach students in a one-on-one setting where they have the individual attention of our instructors. Through private lessons, musicians become proficient in their instruments and achieve their personal goals.
Your flute instructor will work with you to develop good tone quality and proper breathing technique. During your lessons, you’ll build strong reading skills and prepare for any musical endeavor your heart desires.

BEGINNING TO ADVANCED FLUTE INSTRUCTION
Whether you’ve just picked up the flute or you’re training for a music academy or career, you’ll receive the support you need at Masters Institute of Music. Our instructors teach technique, scales, sight reading, embouchure mastery, music theory, tone quality, rhythm training, performance and more.

TUITION
Flute lessons at Masters Institute of Music are 30, 45 and 60-minute classes that are billed at the start of each month (roughly $240) through our monthly payment system. There are NO CONTRACTS to play the flute at Masters. We know that our students will love our instruction and that they’ll come back because they want to. We don’t require any binding commitments at our music school.

Looking for a place to learn the flute, piccolo, alto flute or bass flute? Preparing for auditions? Play with us at Masters Institute of Music. Our music school offers a customized approach with classic and contemporary flute styles incorporated into a fun program targeting each student’s skills and goals.
