The piano offers an amazing first step into the world of music and personal expression. It provides a beautiful and clean sound that is a gateway to the senses, creativity, development and memory.
At Masters Institute of Music, we teach piano lessons to children, teenagers and adults who want to tap into the intellectual, mental and physical benefits of this graceful instrument. Our instructors are versed in Classical piano as well as Jazz, Contemporary, Pop, R&B and Latin piano. If you have a song in you, in any musical genre, our piano teachers will help you express it.
Masters’ piano instructors give students a strong foundation of skills and knowledge to draw upon whether their goal is individual enrichment, entry into a university music program or perfection of their craft for competition and performance. We teach the basics to those who are sitting down at the piano for the first time. Our teachers work with advanced pianists to fine tune their repertoires.

The staff at Masters wants all piano students to unfold into the musicians they dream of being. We offer private lessons with personalized instruction so that piano players can focus on the skills and melodies that best meet match their needs and desires.

CHILDREN
Children who take on a few years of piano lessons are able to remember 22 percent more vocabulary words than their non-playing peers. Piano lessons strengthen their intellectual development. Moreover, playing the piano is a creative escape for children and it helps them harness their abundance of energy.
TEENS
Teens who play the piano learn to express themselves with confidence and joy. They have reduced anxiety and get a great full body workout without even realizing they’re exercising. Piano lessons strengthen their intellectual development and give them an academic edge over their peers.
ADULTS
Research shows that piano instruction has a beneficial impact on the production of Human Growth Hormone, a chemical that’s responsible for slowing adverse effects of aging. Playing the piano supports healthy heart and respiratory rates, and it lowers blood pressure.
METHODS
The one-on-one relationship that our staff has with our piano students makes it possible for every musician to move forward in their talent in the most efficient and pleasurable way. We work hard to create a balanced basic program that flows intuitively into instruction customized to each student’s needs and strengths.
To begin as a piano student at Masters, we pair you with one of our faculty members who will access where you are at and then tailor a program that meets your expectations.
At Masters Institute of Music, our teachers instill our beginning-level piano students with confidence as they build confidence in music theory, sight reading, scales, ear training and melodies. All students receive guidance in posture, performance and personal expression.

TUITION
Piano lessons at Masters are offered in 30, 45 and 60-minute intervals, with tuition for classes due on the first day of each month. Monthly tuition starts at roughly $240 and is charged through our central payment system. There are no contracts. We believe that students will love our classes enough to come back on their own. Our school does not force musicians into a binding commitment.
